Just an awesome place! I adopted my dog from Harbor Humane and got a free visit at Ottawa Animal Hospital when adopting her and we have made it her primary vet since then. She loves everyone there! She doesn’t do well with new men and can be male aggressive, but OAH always accommodates and makes sure she is only handled by female staff, which I greatly appreciate! They take the time to call and see how she is doing after visits and I couldn’t ask for a better vet for my girl! Thank you for all you do!

We adopted a large breed dog, and weren’t sure where we would be able to go where they wouldn’t judge us or our pup. We asked around, and they came highly recommended by other large breed families. The entire staff was amazing, we are always able to get in very quickly when we need to, and they always have a number of different treats to keep him busy while we are there!

There is NO question in my mind that Dr. Heitman has created a tremendous, loving and highly talented team including, of course, Dr. Heitman! Most veterinarians have only a veterinarian office. This special veterinarian took his office/clinic to the next level by taking the time, doing the extensive & hard work to create a state of the art pet hospital with top equipment, top veterinarians & a superb & very qualified staff!
